I am highly against the practice of crowdsourcing translation work. Contrary to popular belief, skilled translation requires far more than native-level fluency in multiple languages---and many don't even have that. I'm unimpressed by the quality of the Facebook translations even in Spanish, a language for which there are many qualified professionals.
You get what you pay for. Or worse.
